SteelSeries GO, the first ever LAN tournament in Counter Strike: Global Offensive, is done for the day with NiP topping their group easily in front of Lemondogs. BuggIT were the best team in Group B and it seems they will be the main challengers to the powerhouse name for the 3,500€.
Ninjas in Pyjamas have begun their CS:GO adventure with a strong display in Group A, opening with a 16-0 win over E-Srael on de_dust2_se. After that they recorded another easy win over VBY 16-2 on de_nuke_se, and only in the last match they were somewhat tested when Lemondogs put up a fight, but eventually succumbed to a 16-8 loss to Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg's team on de_inferno_se.

Group B didn't feature any familiar names to the CS 1.6 community, but BuggIT were tipped to win due to their experience in CSS and recent online play. And they did end up completely dominating the group, dropping only 7 rounds in total, showing that they could present quite a challenge for NiP in the potential final encounter.

As most of you know, CS:GO currently has no spectating client, so only stream was and will be available throughout the tournament and you will be able to find it here.
Stay tuned to HLTV.org to see if NiP will fight off their challengers and take the 3,500€. We will check back in tomorrow with more updates regarding the first ever LAN tournament in Counter Strike: Global Offensive.
